I discovered the daily meme so now I’ll have a daily quiz for you to spread to your heart’s content. Monday’s meme #1 (since I can’t post at work):

1. What is the best (and worst) Valentines gift you have ever received? I don’t remember in terms of best or worst but I remember in grade school I got mints from Matt M., this guy I was dating. He was a grade behind me. I think I was in 7th grade at the time.
2. What is the best (and worst) Valentines gift you have ever given? Best? Jeez, these are tough! I’m not a Valentine’s giver but last year I got Tom a thing of cookies delivered to his work. Worst would probably be the “nothing” I give most years.
3. In the past, have you ever sent or received an anonymous Valentines Card? If so, do you now know who sent you the card? And if you’ve sent one, does the person you sent a card to know it was from you? I’m sure I sent them. I was timid like that. That person doesn’t know it was from me, nor will they ever because I don’t even remember who I sent it to!
4. Have you ever sent an anonymous Valentines and got together with that person afterwards?No.
5. Do you make special plans for Valentines, or is it just another commercial plan to make people spend money? It’s just another commercial holiday designed to get people’s money. Love should be celebrated all year, not just on one day. ….right, I saw that on the web somewhere today even though I *totally* believe it.
6. Do you buy, or make, traditional gifts, like red roses and chocolates, or do you like to be different? No, No, and I don’t care about the gifts. It’s all about the card, which I usually don’t get. Not that I’m bitter.
7. Do you think you are with that special someone, are you waiting for that special someone, or is there ‘the one that got away’? I’m with that special someone, no doubt about it.
