Saturday Finally!

This was an amazingly long week at work. I thought it would never end. Texas weather is crazy as ever. We hit a record high of 85 on Thursday and yesterday was 44. Today the high is supposed to be between 30 & 32. Stupid winter. Luckily there was no precipitation like they had predicted so no icy roads. Here’s today’s meme:

If you could spend 24 hours with a celebrity:

1. Who would s/he be? This is such an easy one! Ed Kowalczyk.
2. Where would you expect him/her to bring you? I wouldn’t have any expectations like that. Anywhere he wanted to take me would be fine with me.
3. Where would you bring him/her to? Here in Dallas I would take him to Deep Ellum or maybe even the Wild Turkey. We could hang out in the bar and drink. Before or after that would depend on what he wanted to do. Not everyone likes to sightsee.
4. What would you like to do with him/her? I can’t answer this for fear that the page would immediately earn an NC-17 rating!
5. What’s the one thing you’d been always wanting to ask the celebrity? What’s it like being so far away from your family a large portion of the time.
6. If s/he didn’t treat you well, would s/he be your favorite celebrity? I’d be angry. I was a little perturbed in August when a request for an informal interview for the site was rejected (even though the other band members are fully involved in theirs) but I got over it. I don’t know if I could get over him being mean to my face, but I think eventually I would. Their music keeps me happy.
7. What would you give to him/her as a gift before saying goodbye so s/he’d remember you? I’ve never thought of that and I don’t think there’s anything I could give him that he doesn’t already have or that he needs. Maybe just a dorky little Texas thing (and I don’t mean me!)
