It’s beginning to look a lot like ….. Summer?

Ah, winter in North Texas. You can feel the nip in the air and the buzz as the air conditioning , I mean heater, starts. Yes, kiddies, it’s winter in North Texas. It was a chilly 81 degrees yesterday and will be a nipply 82 degrees today. THIS is why I moved here. Of course it’s rather unusual. The normal temp is around 58, which is still a reason to move here away from the snow & cold of Pennsylvania. Sadly it’s not warm enough to bust out the shorts. When I first moved here I would have (and I was looked at strangely by my newly-adopted neighbors), but now even the 80s isn’t warm enough for shorts.

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. I know I did. I got the new book by Patricia Cornwell and hubby let me extend my Gametap membership by a month so I can keep dying in the SAME DAMN PLACE on old-school Pitfall every single day. *sigh*.
