Crazy Last Couple of Days

The last couple of days were hectic to say the least. Monday was my birthday so that was special to begin with. Tuesday I had to be at the airport at 6:15 to fly to Phoenix for a business trip. Luckily I made it! I stayed overnight in Phoenix and left at 3pm to come back to Dallas. It was my first Citi biz trip and it was fun. Thursday was catch-up day since I wasn’t at work for 2 days. Friday was my birthday party at the Wild Turkey. It was also an unofficial EarthLink reunion (because when we call it an official one no one shows up!). There were about 10 of us there. I stayed until 1am, had 13 shots and a $0.00 tab! Thank you, friends and thank you, Tom for being my designated driver! Yesterday was run-around and do errands day. Today I was in the Pride Parade in downtown Dallas. Citi participated and I originally only went for the free T-shirt but I had a lot of fun! Thankfully I’m off tomorrow so I can settle down and play the new TS2 expansion pack and update my website which has been missing an update for a few weeks now.

I do have a busy, busy month coming up in October. Luckily it’s all with fun stuff:

10/7 Will Hoge is playing at a bar in downtown Ft. Worth. Tix are $10 so Tom & I going with some friends of ours.
10/14 John Heffron is at the Improv. We really like him so we’re going to see that.
10/15-20 my Mom and Nana are in town so that will be fun too.
10/21 WideAwake is at the Granada Theatre with Blue October. We first heard of them when they played before Ed in 2004 when I met him. I think that show will be rather expensive since Blue October is pretty popular so we may wait. They’ll be back in Dallas on 11/23, 11/25 and 12/23, so if we spend Christmas here that will be a very nice thing to do right before the holiday and 12/23 is when I start my 10 day vacation!

I hope everyone is still out there. Evan never answered my bunny-call and that worries me. Bubby, I know you’re still here but you need to update your damn page!!! Love you all!
