Tom & I just got back from 2 hours of Ikea goodness. We had to park in BFE, but other than that it wasn’t a bad experience considering the store opened 2 days ago. The only problem? Our sense of urgency in purchasing things was gone. It’s different when you have to drive 5 hours to Houston and don’t know when you’ll make it back - you purchase things you even feel remotely interested in having. Knowing the store is less than an hour away makes it different, which come to think of it isn’t such a bad thing! We were looking for a dresser that was in our catalog for $29.99 but we didn’t see it, so I think they were already out of it.
I did find a nice Birch King-sized bed frame with headboard for $329 but we don’t have that kind of money right now. When we do, however, that will be mine.
