High School Pride

I admit that when I was in High School I couldn’t wait to get the hell out of there. I hated it with a passion. However, I must take a minute to give some kudos to my school’s athletic program - The Bishop McDevitt Crusaders of Harrisburg, PA are ranked 12th in the USA Today pre-season High School football poll. That’s an amazing achievement for a program that was piss-poor a few years ago. In fact, from what I’ve heard one of their games will be nationally televised on ESPN2 next month. How weird will that be to be 1500 miles from home and watching my High School Football team on TV?
