I love you, Poochie!

It was 10 years ago today that I met my husband in-person for the first time. We had talked on AOL for a number of months before our first face to face meeting. I still remember that day and what he was wearing, what we did and how much fun I had. Within months I knew he was the one. I still can’t believe I’ve known Tom for 10 years! 22 years old! I was just a baby, yet I can remember before meeting him that I was already worrying that I’d never find anyone. Pooch, we’ve been through good and bad in the last 10 years and I wouldn’t change a minute of it. I could never find anyone I love more. Here’s a poem (yes, 2 days in a row, cut be a break, dang it!) that is perfect for our anniversary:

You are my love
You understand all my thoughts
You understand whatever I do
You are fun
You are exciting
You are strong
You are gentle
You are intelligent
You are honest
You are sensitive
You are creative
You are the one
person that I
trust my life with
and whom I always
want to be with
You are my
love

I may joke about my love for Ed (well, most of the time I’m joking) and how I’d leave if he asked me to marry him, but even in that fantasy I don’t think I’d be as happy as I am when I’m with you. You mean everything to me. I’d do anything for you. I hope the past decade has made you as happy as it’s made me. I love you!
