An 11 year old girl in NY is so upset over her bad yearbook picture that she refuses to go to her 6th grade graduation. Her parents are demanding a recall of all 200 yearbooks and the fact that the school refunded them the $14.xx price is “insulting” according to the mother.
Are you shitting me? I myself had a bad yearbook picture around 8th grade and you know what? SUCK IT THE F—- UP! Parents these days are raising a bunch of pusses. Of course, I guess the problem is the parents, most of whom are around my age or a little older. I don’t know what happened. My parents didn’t raise me to believe that the world owed me something or that every wrong had to be corrected. So freaking what if you have a bad yearbook picture & it’s your “legacy” at that school? How many people even have their yearbook from Grade School or Jr. High? Or if you do, how freaking often do you look at it? What’s going to happen if she looks crappy in her wedding pictures? A full refund and a lawsuit? Perhaps she’ll find herself Dumpster-diving in Boston cheating the insurance companies because after all, damn it, what she wants she gets.
