Being a Homebody

These past few weeks I haven’t done much of anything. Last weekend Tom & I put up a new porch light out front. (That was an adventure!) We also went to Main Street Arts Fest with his friend, Teresa and her Girlfriend Thea. I loved Thea! She was so funny!

This weekend I’m thinking we need to trim our tree out front. It’s just a thought I can’t get out of my head. Maybe because I had so much fun putting up the light with Tom even if we both got a little testy towards the end. :)

Big storms rumbled through North Texas last night. Luckily they were just to the north of us. There was a tornado warning for Northern Tarrant county, which is us, but the newspeople kept mentioning places that were 15 minutes north of us so I don’t think we were ever threatened. Luckily the warning was canceled before I went to bed. I think anothe storm came through while I was sleeping but it wasn’t enough to freak out the dog so it couldn’t have been that bad.

Last night Patty & I went to dinner with Dave & Emily. I like going to dinner with Dave and Patty but it’s bittersweet because it also makes me miss working with them both every day so much that I can almost feel a twinge of loss in my gut.

Anyhow! I’m fine, I know I haven’t updated for awhile, it’s just because I’ve actually been pursuing outside interests for once. That’s how I get in the summertime. Jeremy, we’re having a turkey night on May 19. I know you’re not drinking & that’s cool. I still think you should come. I know a bunch of people who would be glad to see you! Text me & let me know.
