Oh sweet Lord, remind me *never* to enter a contest again. One of the sites that’s been my biggest supporter for Dulce Walls, GSC2 is hosting a Wall & Floor Contest (among others) and the winner gets the new strategy guide for Nightlife when it comes out. One of the moderators at GSC2 notified me that if they didn’t get any entrants they may have to cancel the contest so of course I had to enter (winner by default?). Well I spent 2 days creating 3 types of walls, 3 types of floors and 1 Ground cover (mulch). I’ve never made a Ground Cover before and let me tell you, it’s a BITCH! I will *never* make one again.
I promised myself I’d be upstairs in bed (watching tv at least) by 9pm tonight after working on this until Midnight last night. Naturally it’s 10:30pm and between finishing up my entries and fixing a custom neon I tried to finish last night I missed that deadline. *sigh*. The life of a busy webmistress.
P.S. - Congrats to Emily on her new job. She’s joining the world of Multi-Mega-Huge Financial Corp. (To further be known as MMHFC). You’ll do great and I know you’ll make me proud.
