Go ahead, kill your wife, you’ll be out in 6 years

Mark Hacking was sentenced today for the killing of his wife, Lori. The jury gave him 6 years to life in prison. I’m sure that has to be just how the law terms it & they’re planning on keeping him in prison until he dies, right? I mean the fact that you killed your pregnant wife, dumped her in a landfill, acted like a nutjob (I mean moreso than killing your wife proves) and lied is only worth 6 years? Somehow I think that law needs to be changed so those of us outside of Utah aren’t amazed like I am now.
